Four young Colombians were recognized by a UNESCO and Nestlé program that supports young entrepreneurs. Among the beneficiaries is Sara Gutiérrez, a 30-year-old entrepreneur from Paisa who aspires to help people with disabilities with 3D technology.

919 applications were submitted and twenty young people from eleven Latin American countries were selected. Among the beneficiaries are four Colombians: Sara Gutiérrez, from Antioquia, with the BeOne in 3D Humans; Sebastián Jiménez Pinzón, from the Boyacá department, with his Artesanos del Agua project; Steffany Vizcaíno, from Atlántico, with Plantú; and Kevin David Soto, from Valle del Cauca, with his initiative Negrx, faggot and what!

These met until June 14 at the UNESCO Villa Ocampo Observatory in Buenos Aires, Argentina. There they received training, workshops and mentoring from Nestlé and UNESCO’s “Impulso Joven – Because Youth Matter” Program.

cEach of the beneficiaries received seed capital of 10,000 dollars (about 41 million Colombians) to develop your project, with the aim of generating a tangible social and environmental impact.

The young paisa celebrated the selection and added that with the training she took a step on her professional path. “We have adjusted the use of different social platforms according to the profile of our target audience. After these trainings, I hope to apply the theoretical concepts in a more profound way, to have a tangible impact.”

The project

ANDGutiérrez’s project proposes a strategy to create a new business model focused on creating 3D solutions for people with disabilities.

It is a corporation that develops personalized solutions for people with disabilities. Through education, 3D printing and other technologies, it seeks to create a positive impact on society, promoting inclusion and raising awareness about the capabilities and potentials of people with disabilities.

The entrepreneur is a business administrator. She has a specialization in Leadership and Teamwork, as well as an MBA in Business Management and Administration with a focus on sustainability and creating shared value. She worked in the aeronautical sector.
