The former Poor Clare nuns have expelled the false bishop from the monastery of Belorado (Burgos) Pablo de Rojasfounder of the Pious Union Sancti Pauli Apostoli, and JOsé Ceacero, known as the cocktail priest, who until now acted as his spokesperson. Both would have already left space.

According to the newspaper ABC, could be one of the demands of the team of lawyers representing the nuns excommunicated since last week. The Archbishopric of Burgos has threatened with legal action if the ten ex-nuns do not voluntarily leave the monastery, for which they have been granted an unspecified “reasonable” period.

The archbishop Mario Iceta He proceeded to excommunication and expulsion ipso facto of consecrated life for his crime of schism, after his refusal to appear before the Ecclesiastical Court. The Archbishopric has indicated that, despite the excommunication, “there continues to exist a monastic community formed by the sisters who have not incurred excommunication, as they have not supported the schism.” These are the five older sisters and three others who, although they are not in the monastery at the moment, belong to the community.

The Poor Clares of Belorado announced on May 13 their resignation from the Catholic Church. The religious community was placed under the tutelage and jurisdiction of the false bishop excommunicated Pablo de Rojas Sánchez-Franco, leader of the Pious Union Sancti Pauli Apostoli. In an interview with EFE, the theologian expert on sects Luis Santamaría defined the religious as “a megalomaniacal character with delusions of grandeur, who combines the ecclesiastical and the nobility, who walks around Bilbao with episcopal ornaments typical of another era.” The theologian assured that De Rojas had taken advantage of a situation of vulnerability “to present himself before the Poor Clares as the savior of his own community and of the entire Catholic Church.”

De Rojas was born in the Sierra de Cazorla in August 1981 and currently directs the call Pious Union Sancti Pauli Apostoli, a non-profit foundation “open only to the Catholic faithful” with the goal of “rendering to God the glory that is due to Him.” He presents himself with several noble titles, including imperial duke, prince-elector of the Holy Roman Empire and five times Grandee of Spain. His Pious Union defines itself as “the true Church of Christ” and he does not recognize any pope after Pius XII nor does he admit the validity of the sacraments celebrated in the post-conciliar Catholic Church.

Through its website and social networks, it disseminates content in which it calls not to get vaccinated “under penalty of mortal sin.” Likewise, she has shared comments of tone antisemiticrefers to the dictator Francisco Franco as “our undefeated leader” and recognizes Sixto Enrique de Borbón-Parma, the Carlist claimant, as the legitimate king of Spain.

Jose Ceaceroknown as the priest bartender or mixologist, is De Rojas’s right-hand man and is a member of his Pía Unión. Ceacero has acted as a spokesperson for the nuns before the press, as well as their spiritual guide. His expulsion from the monastery was required on May 31 by the Archbishopric of Burgos, as he resided in a religious building without belonging to the Catholic Church. Last Saturday, the Poor Clares asked them to leave.
