Description submitted by the project team. The interior design of this new private house in Eischen was commissioned by Moreno Arquitectura. This house has 4 levels and is located on a steep lot. The ground floor consists of hallway, cloakroom, laundry room and a guest bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
The staircase space leading to the first two levels is highlighted by a black metal railing over 5m high.
The first floor is occupied by a games room and the three children’s bedrooms, each of which has its own bathroom. The children’s rooms have all been designed in white, allowing each child to personalize their space. Personalization is also found in the bathroom mosaics with a different color for each of them. The living rooms are located at garden level, on the second floor. The double height of this spacious living room gives an impression of spaciousness and generosity.
The ceiling with its skylights and double height flood the room with light.
The verticality is accentuated with the fireplace painted in a stronger tone. The third floor is reached through a wooden staircase. This level is dedicated to the parents’ suite. The bedroom is very bright and is directly related to the transparent box of the bathroom.
