The dark Cube Passage (Princess, 3) has been filled with art and color thanks to CUBOS Madrid project, which has turned this forgotten space into an urban art gallery. The exhibition, which has been curated by Madrid Street Art Projecthas counted on the work of 16 artists and artistic collectives, who have joined this initiative that wants to vindicate culture and creativity in the capital. Thanks to them, we find in the passage and its surroundings 11 muralstwo tape-arts, a woven intervention, a rotating wall, and a striking intervention on the staircase, made by the graffiti artist Diego Vicente. The latter, by the way, is the work that is generating the most interest. The support in which it has been created, the perspective games it offers and the colors have made it a most original photocall; and in a powerful claim to attract audiences to this open-air gallery.

Urban art

After the success of its first two editions in 2017 and 2018, under the name Cubed art, this cultural project has returned to the same area with a renewed concept. Among the new features is a rotating wall in which works by different artists and groups chosen by Madrid Street Art Project and MERLIN Properties through an open call on their website. Every 4 months, the mural will change, giving 3 new artists the opportunity to make their work visible.

As for those who have already left their seal on the passage, they are Suso33, Taquen, Cretus, Ramon Amoros, Juay, spok, Marta Lapeña, Sabek, Rosh, Amazon Duo, Uneg, Diego Vicente, TAV (Tape Art Valencia)Dante Arcade, Weave the Spider either Hooked and they will exhibit their works for a year in the Plaza España area (Martín de los Heros, Ventura Rodríguez, Plaza Emilio Jiménez Millás).
