¿QWHICH IS IT IN A PLACE IN…?
An initiative undertaken by the Prado Museum and Telefónica, in collaboration with the Territorio Goya association and with the support of Aragonese institutions.
¿QWHAT OBJECTIVE DOES IT HAVE?
Bring the art and collections of the Prado to the corners they usually do not reach, particularly to the rural centers most distant from the big cities, as well as promote knowledge of some beautiful and little-known towns in the geography of Aragon and celebrate the richness of the Museum’s collection.
IN QWHAT DOES IT CONSIST?
Exact reproductions of some fundamental works from the Prado Museum collections have been installed in public spaces in fifteen towns in the Campo de Belchite region, in Zaragoza, evoking the format of the originals, with a frame and an explanatory plaque.
The project is accompanied by a map of the area, which identifies the fifteen towns that make up that region and the painting whose copy has been installed in each one; with a video and a microsite in which we can see scenes of the assembly of the pieces, their context and the natural environment of the enclaves where they are exhibited. Some shots have been taken with drones.

Almochuel, Almonacid de la Cuba, Azuara, Belchite, Codo, Fuendetodos, Lagata, La Puebla de Albortón, Lécera, Letux, Moneva, Moyuela, Plenas, Samper del Salz and Valmadrid. In addition, two other replicas have been set up in Zaragoza: in the Aljafería and the Tourist Office, by the Cortes of Aragon and the Provincial Council of Zaragoza.
