The Ministry of Culture of the Province of Santa Fe, through the Fair Program, called on producers in the book industry to be part of its official stand. This space becomes an international showcase and makes it possible to circulate the titles in a cultural setting in which a rich program of more than 1,500 events is displayed, and in which the most prominent figures of the reading universe participate.

In this regard, Paulo Ricci, Secretary of Cultural Development, commented: “Fortunately, the participation of the province of Santa Fe in the Buenos Aires International Book Fair with its own stand has become one of the most virtuous public policies of the Ministry of Culture. Through this platform and the enormous task of the Feriar program team, Santa Fe authors, as well as publishers from across the province, have the unparalleled possibility of being present at this meeting with the publishing industry from across the country and the world”.

The Ministry of Culture kept a public call open for a month with material received in various parts of the Santa Fe territory. 65 publishing labels and 120 independent authors from the towns of Álvarez, Arroyo Reyes, Avellaneda, Cañada Rosquín, Casilda, Carcarañá, Chabás, Esperanza, Firmat, Funes, Hughes, Ibarlucea, Laguna Paiva, Pueblo Esther, Rafaela, Reconquista were registered , Roldán, Rosario, Rufino, Santa Fe, San Justo, San Genaro, Sanford, San José del Rincón, San Justo, Santo Tomé, Sauce Viejo, Totoras, Tostado, Venado Tuerto, Villa Constitución, Villa Mugueta, Villa Ocampo and Villa Trinidad .

Its objective is to allow Popular Libraries throughout the country, members of the Program, to acquire bibliographic material according to the needs of their communities at 50% of its value. In this way, CONABIP facilitates a decentralized modality to guarantee the provision of bibliographic material to Popular Libraries.
