Four people from Calden close the department’s participation in Filbo

Caldas continues present in the 36th edition of the Bogotá International Book Fair (Filbo), which ends tomorrow.

The writer Carlos Mario Vallejo He will be today starting at 4:00 pm, in workshop room 3 of Corferias, presenting his book The Sexualizers in the company of the writer and journalist Adriana Villegas. With that text, Vallejo occupied the first place in the Jaime Echeverri National Novel Prize convened by Editorial Escarabajo.

Vallejo explained what the book is about: “The second-person narrator addresses an unnamed protagonist who projects confine three people in a Manizales neighborhood in order to reeducate them about their discriminatory concepts, for which he will use characters from his family and the underworld. It is the story of a noble loser whose idea is based on the fact that the real prison is in the labels.”

In addition, Blanca Mery Sánchezwriter from Manizale and columnist for LA PATRIA, will present Believe it, Believe itfrom 5:30 pm in the Madre Josefa del Castillo room.

Added to these presentations Adriana Villegas, who will have the conference on the project that has been giving visibility to the Pioneer Women Writers of Greater Caldas. There are already 13 that have been presented each month in the Bank of the Republic. The event will start at 10:00 am in the María Mercedes Carranza room.
