The 59 Valencia Book Fair ends this weekend after nine consecutive days with great success among the public and also in sales.

PACO ROCA, TERESA PASCUAL AND ELISA FERRE, AWARDS 59 VALENCIA BOOK FAIR
The 59th Valencia Book Fair will distinguish in this 2024 edition with its awards to Paco Roca, Teresa Pascual and Elisa Ferrer. These have been awarded since 2019 with the purpose of recognizing the career and literary contributionone in Spanish and another in Valencian, as well as emerging talent.
The lifetime achievement award in Spanish to Paco Roca is especially significant, since it is the first time that the Book Fair awards a graphic novel and comic author.
His last work The abyss of oblivion (Astiberri, 2023), together with the journalist from The world is, Rodrigo Terrasa, is focused on the fight for the memory of the people shot by Franco in the Paterna cemetery (Valencia).
