On this occasion, W Solutions reached the educational community of the La Arenosa Headquarterspart of the Policarpa Salavarrieta Educational Institution in the town of Santa Fe de Morichal, YopalCasanare, with the generous support alliesthanks to the management carried out in recent days.

Recently, the teacher Ingrid Yeraldine Vilallobosrepresentative of the La Arenosa Headquarters, contacted us requesting donations of books for the library what they want to establish in school. According to what the teacher informed us, the children only have a few textbooks, insufficient for an adequate education of minors and essential for provide a education of quality to the 16 children enrolled in the rural school. In response to this request, Soluciones W managed to gather the support of three allies who made donations to make this possible.
The first of our allies was the National Bookstorewho committed to donating a batch of universal literature books of various genres to enrich the school’s bibliographical collection and provide reading material for all children.
On the other hand, we have the support of the Secrets to Tell Foundation, an organization based in Medellín with twenty years of experience in promoting reading in rural communities. This Foundation joined the cause by offering five collections composed of three books each. These collections will be available not only to students, but also to their families, thus encouraging reading at home and strengthening community ties. Each trilogy includes books that explore a wide range of topics, from principles of physics and chemistry to oral traditions and local knowledgeadapted to the rural context.
Finally, the Babel bookstore joined the initiative, donating some children’s and educational booksensuring that the school can have an updated and varied library, thanks to the generous donation from our alliesthe La Arenosa Campus will be able to offer an enriching and quality education to its students, demonstrating once again the transformative power of solidarity and commitment to education in Colombia.
