The Boox Palma has just landed in Spain, this e-book reader in the shape of a smartphone and Android operating system wants to stand up to the Kindle. Although it can be categorized as a device intended for reading books, the differences with conventional readers are what allow the Boox Palma to be a unique device. On a technical level, the Boox Palma has a 6.13-inch screen with an E Ink Cartra 1200 electronic ink panel. The resolution of this screen is 824 pixels high by 1,648 pixels wide, being more than enough to view any type of text without problems.

This combination of size and resolution allows the Boox Palma to have a density of 300 pixels per inch. The screen is backlit, in addition, the adjustment can be both manual and automatic and the screen temperature can be calibrated according to the user’s preferences.
