The fire completely burned a battery of containers valued at more than 4,000 euros
They passed the course and decided to set fire to the books. The problem is that they over-braked and ended up setting fire to a battery of containers in sa Vileta de Palma. National Police agents have arrested three minors accused of being the perpetrators of a crime of damage.
The events took place at 5:50 p.m. on June 7 at the Camí de Son Puig, in sa Vileta, when several calls alerted that a battery of garbage deposits was engulfed in flames. Several patrols Citizen security, as well as fire crews arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire. The fire started in the plastic container, where the teenagers had burned their books, and spread to the rest of the containers. In a matter of seconds, the flames managed to completely burn the tanks.
He National Police Robbery Group took charge of the investigation and they were able to verify that moments before the three teenagers were next to the containers. What’s more, they were manipulating one of the same ones where the fire started by introducing an object inside. Immediately afterwards, smoke began to come out and after approximately an hour, the fire started. The assessment of the Damage caused exceeds 4,000 euros. After managing to identify the alleged perpetrators, last Wednesday they were arrested for a crime of damage by fire.
