The book ‘Bicha, Para!’, by Guigo Kieras, continues as a reference and inspiration for young LGBT people in Brazil

Released in January 2020, the book “Bicha, stop!”from the influencer from Parana Guigo Kieras, offers a raw and captivating perspective on the life experiences of a gay man in Brazil. Published by the My Ritmos Editora e Produções Artísticasthe work is not only a collection of stories, but also a manifesto in favor of acceptance and understanding of the complexities of the LGBTQIA+ identity

In “Bicha, stop!”, Kieras shares ten personal stories that explore challenges such as unrequited love, prejudice, and the search for family and social acceptance. Each story represents a slice of life and offers lessons on how to overcome the challenges the LGBTQIA+ community faces every day.

The book, available both digitally on Kindle and as a physical version, offers a flexible perspective on multiple devices simultaneously, allowing Kieras’ philosophies and experiences to reach a wide and diverse audience. With 88 pages in the digital version, the work is designed to be inclusive and compatible with users of all types of screens and configurable in various types of fonts. The physical version has 140 pages and measures 14×21 cm.

An inspiring experience

Guigo Kieras, widely known for his commitment and charisma on the YouTube channel «Fora da Casinha«, used literature as a possible vehicle for dialogue about identity, love and resilience. Reflection, empathy and activism have always been essential pillars for those of Ponta Grossa to promote a more just and inclusive society.

One of the charity activations of the YouTuber who rose to fame took place during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, when the writer, who is also a DJ, participated in the interactive “ZoomParty” produced by the “Piri Dance«, supported by LGBTQIA+ event producers «Oil» and «Selection». The action, open to the public, granted 20% of the value raised to the NGO Casa Florescerwhich offers support to transsexual and transvestite women in situations of social vulnerability.

Among his most recent projects, Guigo Kieras stood out with the videocast «No Pod! Pod Sim!«, where each episode a different guest talks about humorous stories. Among the people who have participated in the latest project are personalities such as Luan Poffo, Arlindo Grund and Bruno Sartori.
