‘There is only one father 4: wedding bells’ (cinema, July 17)

Another of the most anticipated family releases of the summer will be the fourth part of There is only one fatherthe comedy directed by and starring Santiago Segura. His large and crazy family will face the wedding plans of the first-born. It will reach theaters on July 17.

‘Shared Guilt’, Michael Hjorth and Hans Rosenfeldt (Planet, July 3)

The acclaimed detective literary saga starring criminal psychologist Sebastian Bergman returns. In this eighth novel by Michael Hjorth and Hans Rosenfedt, Stockholm’s homicide unit is in crisis due to the revelation that one of their colleagues is a serial killer.

‘Under the bridge: the murder of Reena Virk’ (Disney+, July 10)

Miniseries based on the book of the same name by Rebecca Godfrey that tells the story of the brutal murder of Reena Virk, a 14-year-old girl who was beaten and drowned to death. The incident, which occurred in 1997, shocked Canada and ended with several teenagers accused of the crime. In the series, Riley Keough plays Rebecca Godfrey and Lily Gladstone plays one of the police officers in charge of the investigation.

‘Sausage Party: Frutopia’ (Amazon Prime Video, July 11)

This sequel in series form to the provocative film The sausage party stars much of the original cast. Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Michael Cera, David Krumholtz and Edward Norton lend their voices to the irreverent foods that will live a new adventure outside the supermarket they live in. It will land on Amazon Prime Video on July 11.

‘Fly me to the moon’ (cinema, July 12)

It will hit theaters one day later Fly me to the moona story set in 1969, at the time of the historic Apollo 11 moon landing. Channing Tatum and Scarlett Johansson star in this comedy-drama. She is a marketing specialist hired by NASA and he is the agency’s director of operations.

‘The Inheritance’, Nora Roberts (Suma, July 4)

The successful American writer publishes the first book of her new trilogy, The curse of the seven brides, that will take us into a haunted mansion full of ghosts. This first installment focuses on the story of Sonya, a woman who discovers that an unknown uncle has left her a Victorian house on the coast of Maine.

‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ (cinema, July 25)

He crossover of Deadpool and Wolverine with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman is one of the most anticipated premieres of the season. In the third installment of the saga of Deadpoolthe insolent character will travel through time to team up with Wolverine and thus take down a common enemy.

‘The Lady of the Lake’ (Apple TV+, July 19)

Natalie Portman stars in (and produces) her first television series with this adaptation of Laura Lippman’s novel of the same name, set in 1966 in Baltimore. The plot focuses on an unsolved murder that will push a housewife to become an investigative journalist.

‘Into the Wild’, Elizabeth Gilbert (Debolsillo, July 11)

The author of Eat Pray Lovethis time writes about Eustace Conway, a man she met in her youth. At the age of 17, Conway left home and moved to the Appalachian Mountains. He lived there for two decades. He also traveled down the Mississippi in a handmade wooden canoe and crossed the German Alps in sneakers.
