Hydrogen for Exolum
Regarding Exolum, the manager has pointed out that they are adapting infrastructure that will be required for the new uses, such as the hydrogen or the ammonia.
In this sense, Lanza has given as an example Exolum’s pilot projects for this year, one for transporting pure HVO diesel, already available for its clients, and another based on a network of pipelinesin it Kingdom United and Spainto move hydrogen in liquid form with organic carriers.
This incipient technology, he explained, is based on molecules that have embedded hydrogen and that can be handled at room temperature, at atmospheric pressure and without any type of risk because they are not flammable or toxic.
The company, its CEO has stressed, is also investing in new infrastructure for new uses of the hydrogen and of ammonia.
Recently, the company has acquired a clean ammonia storage terminal in state Joinedwith the idea of bringing those capabilities to invest in Spain.
