lAfter having launched the Feel Pack version in pre-sale, only through a savings plan, Citroën now formally presented the new C3 Aircross in Argentina, with its complete range and prices for each of the variants. Converted into an authentic B-SUV, it stands out for its robust design and above all for its large interior space, which allows it to transport up to 7 passengers, being one of the most accessible vehicles on the market to have this possibility.
Precisely, at its launch, the French brand focused on its accessibility: in addition to competitive values, it offers financing at a 0% rate for 12 months, with a maximum amount of up to $5,000,000. It is also of course still available through a savings plan, with a 60/40 modality and an initial fee of $190,423. Likewise, the company has agreements with insurers (with promotions and discounts of up to 50% with La Caja, La Segunda and San Cristóbal), a scheduled maintenance contract (Citroën Flex Care) and, like the hatchback, spare parts. Replacements cost around 16% less than the average for their segment.

The new:
It is the new generation of the C3 Aircross, which now adopted a format of a true SUV instead of a minivan with adventurous aesthetics. Developed on the CMP platform, it is part of the C-Cubed Project and was presented in Brazil last year.
On an aesthetic level, it should be noted that the French firm managed to differentiate it considerably from the hatchback/crossover, despite the fact that it uses a large part of its components. In the front sector, it maintains the divided headlights and an X-shaped light signature, but adopted a new bumper with a larger air intake and a more prominent type of defense to give it a more robust image. In profile you can see its kinship with the C3, especially in the doors. The differences appear from the C pillar to the rear, evidencing the lengthening of the body to offer greater habitability. The rear finish is very well done, with a wrap-around rear window reminiscent of the C5 Aircross and a fairly vertical tailgate to improve cargo space. The brand also highlights the wide ground clearance -200 mm- and a great departure angle.
Inside, the C3 Aircross looks similar to the hatch, with a more three-dimensional style design and has two-tone contrasting appliqués and a texture that seeks to increase the feeling of quality. It has digital instruments –apparently more complete than that of the C3-, but the focus goes to the touch screen of up to 10” (depending on the version) of the multimedia system, which can offer wireless connection. It also has up to 5 USB ports. As it has a larger cabin – especially in the 7-seater version – it has a ventilation system on the roof for the second row of seats.
Dimensions:
4,320 mm long, 1,678 mm high (with roof bars), 1,720 mm wide and has a wheelbase of 2,675 mm. The trunk capacity is 493 liters, expandable to 1,080 liters. The fuel tank capacity is 47 liters.
Versions:
In our country, it will be available in four equipment levels (Live, Feel, Feel Pack and Shine), with two engine options and 5 and 7-seater configurations.
Comfort equipment:
The version live It has electric power steering, air conditioning, digital instruments, on-board computer, electric windows, central locking and fabric upholstery.
The version Feel Pack adds Citroën Connect multimedia system with 10” touch screen, multifunction steering wheel, rear parking sensors, LED daytime running lights, electric mirrors, instruments with 7” TFT display, central locking, electric windows with one touch, remote opening command , USB (x2) for rear seats, roof bars, perimeter alarm and 16” alloy wheels.
The version shine It adds rear parking sensors, cruise control and speed limiter, ventilation system for rear seats, alloy wheels with a diamond finish and two-tone paint (optional).
Safety equipment:
The entire range has double airbags, brakes with ABS/EBD/BA, traction control, stability control, tire pressure monitoring, hill start assist and Isofix/Top Theter anchors.
Starting with the Feel version, it adds front side airbags and fog lights. It lacks driving assistance systems.
Mechanics:
In our market, it is offered with two gasoline engines: for the Live, Feel and Feel Pack versions, it has the well-known 1.6 VTi engine with 115 HP and 150 Nm of torque, coupled to a 5-speed manual gearbox. For the Shine versions, it is equipped with the new Firefly 1.0 turbo (T200), which delivers 120 HP and 200 Nm of torque, associated with a CVT automatic transmission with 7 simulated gears.
