Exploration drilling reaches extensive anomalous mineralization.

Tocvan Ventures Corp. announced drilling results from its drilling program at its road-accessible Pilar Gold-Silver project in Sonora, Mexico, a mine-friendly area.

“Today’s results give us numerous reasons to be excited about Pilar’s potential. “Not only are we continuing to increase resource potential on the outer edges of the Main Zone, but we have also successfully achieved significant mineralization in two exploration holes 700 meters apart,” said CEO Brodie Sutherland.

Sutherland noted that with all good exploration, time is needed to focus on key targets, as the latest results provide us with the evidence needed to further evaluate the southeastern extent of the various known trends.

The results highlight four infill wells along the main zone trend, three of which are located in the northwest extension of the trend. Also included in today’s results are two exploration wells along the southeastern edge of the 4-T trend.

Infill holes are highlighted by drill hole JES-24-73, which returned four distinct zones of mineralization including two zones of high copper and zinc values, including 4.6 meters of 2.2 g/t Au, 49 g/t Ag, 0.46% Cu and 1.48% Zn.

Anomalous mineralization extends from surface to 152.5 meters vertical depth averaging 0.3 g/t Au and 3 g/t Ag across the four mineralized sections. Infill hole JES-24-84 returned 10.7 meters of 0.6 g/t Au and 3 g/t Ag within a broad anomalous zone of 97.6 meters of 0.1 g/t Au from 48.8 meters vertical depth.

It is important to note that both wells represent the extension of the Main Zone along the edges; Continued mineralization is a positive sign for further resource advancement. In terms of exploration drilling, two holes 400 meters southeast along the 4-T trend have returned values indicating that mineralization continues along this corridor.

This is highlighted by JES-24-87 which returned 53.4 meters of 0.1 g/t Au and 2 g/t Ag, the widest zone of gold-silver mineralization recorded in exploration drilling to date and more 700 meters from the Main Zone.

To date, more than 2,700 meters have been drilled for the 2024 program. Results from eight drill holes are currently pending analysis. Drilling is underway at Pilar.

The polymetallic results returned in the Main Zone are probably related to breccia phases found in previous core drilling (JES-22-61) 40 m to the northwest where elevated levels of gold, silver and zinc were recorded. The presence of multiple phases of breccias and veins in Pilar is what makes it an attractive target, it is a complex and robust system that we believe is just beginning to take shape.

“The interest of a major producer in the potential for further expansion area is a clear sign that we are taking the right steps to further advance the area and get the attention we believe the project deserves,” he said.
