Half a month has already passed, so the list of events in which I am going to participate has been reduced a little and this week I have two appointments, the Cybersecurity Congress in Gijón on the 20th and our Telefónica Fest on the 20 and 21which is one of the big events we do in Telephone District to celebrate our centenary with all of you. As you know, it has been a year of non-stop and no wonder, 100 years connecting people’s lives deserves a celebration in style. Well, reserve the following dates: Thursday June 20th and Friday June 21st.
These days, the Innovation and Talent Hub opens its doors Telephone Districtthe company’s headquarters in Madrid. There will be two days of celebration with activities for everyone: hackathon, game jamtechnological challenges and games, demonstrations, talks, live music and much more.

Telefónica Fest Activities
As I said, there are many more activities that you will enjoy and learn from great technological collaborators such as YBVR, Meta, Xiaomi or Movistar KOI. I’ll tell you some of them.
With Distrito AR we have created different augmented reality experiences so that you can learn about the history and values of the company. You can find five points distributed in Telephone District with instructions and QR to access experiences.
You can also participate in the 42 Challenge, an activity aimed at promoting STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) professions among women. There will even be other challenges such as “Capture the Flag” with Telefónica Tech or the AgroInChange Hackathon organized as part of the iHub lto Vega Innova by the hand of Wayra.
Gaming and tech games
You will have the opportunity to immerse yourself fully in the world of video games with the collaborators who will come. From physically feeling everything that happens in a game with OWO and the system haptic until living a day in the best league in League of Legends by the hand of Movistar KOI in a match against Barça eSports.
Demos and experiences
You will be able to live sports experiences in an innovative and fun way with the technology of Extended Reality (RX) thanks to the demo that we have prepared with two great collaborators, YBVR and Goal. You can travel to the last final of the ACB King’s Cup thanks to Telefónica Open Gatewayor enjoy fights of the UFC or racing NASCAR through an immersive experience 360 and in 8K by the hand of PlayStation. You see, what we are preparing is truly amazing.
Movistar Immersive Experience, our virtual world available in Goal Questwill also be present so that you can discover all the unreleased immersive content of Movistar Plus+ or see the work of the painter and sculptor Okuda San Miguel, among many other experiences.

Regarding Web3, you will be able to learn everything about Telefónica’s NFT Marketplace and all the digital collections available. In addition, there will be a commemorative NFT of the centenary that you can take in your wallet digital. Training and dissemination
At Telefónica Fest there will be a lot of conferences on different topics, including mine on Artificial Intelligence and Deep Fakes on Friday the 21st, those contents that seem real, but are not. In addition, there will be others related to AI about how to elevate your creativity or develop your professional career, or others that address the topic of how to educate children in the digital age with the help of experts.
You also can’t miss the Wayra Vibesin which Chema Martínez will talk about motivation and entrepreneurship, and you will be able to learn about some casess of success startups who began their first steps with Telephone.
In the guided tours, you will be able to discover some of the innovation spaces of our Innovation and Talent Hub, from where we create the technology to face the new digital era.
There will be experts teaching The cabinour inside of technological inspiration; The ThinX, the IoT project laboratory; the Technology & Automation LAB, where we bring quantum communications to life; and the innovative space of 42 Madrid Telefónica Foundation.
Live music and sports
There will also be live music thanks to Movistar Música. The festival’s soundtrack will be in the hands of different emerging artists such as Kyotto, Lennis Rodríguez, Coconut yogurts, Andreew, Linze or Mr.Cobol who will be singing live. There will also be DJs providing the atmosphere and, if you feel like it, you can train with Chema Martínez himself live.
Additionally, the sports team Movistar Plus+ has prepared a sports narration workshop with the best-known journalists in the house. They invite you to become one of them through their virtual set Movistar Plus+ and they will demonstrate everything that AI is capable of doing in the broadcast of sporting events.
