He annual study on logistics in the distribution sector of multi-brand spare parts in Spain, carried out by Ancera, the National Association of Equipment, Spare Parts and Accessories Traders, has had the collaboration of CDN Logistics.

According to the report, the average number of references in stock has increased by 15%. Currently, references without sales in one year represent 11% of the stock, showing a significant decrease compared to the previous study that registered 14%. On the other hand, the references that have sold more than 52 units now represent 13%, which represents an increase of one percentage point compared to 2023. when they were 12%.

The roles of those responsible for purchasing, warehouse and transportation in the field of logistics have been reinforced, representing 35.7% of the total, which implies an increase of 10.7 percentage points compared to 2023. The level of service continues to be the option most valued by customers, according to distributors, with growth notable 58.6%. In this sense, 64% of those interviewed propose automating processes, investing in new logistics technologies and systems, and adopt e-commerce to directly improve service. High shipping and transportation costs, affecting 56% of those surveyed, They represent a significant barrier to operational efficiency in the sector. For 44%, critical concerns include cost and personnel management, as well as supplier sourcing.
