This red wine from Ribera del Duero has just won the gold medal in an important international competition and the bottles are going to sell out in record time

Today we are going to talk to you about an award-winning wine, one of those that cannot be missing in your home for a special celebration or simply to treat yourself. We are referring to Tamaral Reserva 2018, a red wine from Ribera del Duero that has received the gold medal in the 34th edition of the Grand International Wine Award Mundus Vini by an international jury of 250 professionals such as oenologists, winemakers, sommeliers and specialized journalists.

You can imagine that after receiving this important distinction, and at a price of just over 30 euros, it is normal for it to fly off the shelves, so we recommend that you get one or several bottles as soon as possible.

Tamaral Tempranillo

Tamaral Reserva 2018 is a wine with great personality, made exclusively with the Tempranillo grape variety. Its intense cherry red color, with a cardinal trim, anticipates a unique sensory experience.

After aging for 24 months in French and American oak barrels, this red wine has developed a fascinating aromatic complexity. Aromas of ripe black fruits, such as blackberry and prunes, are intertwined with notes of cocoa and spices, such as cloves and cinnamon. Each component is perfectly integrated, creating a symphony of flavors in every sip.

In the mouth, this reserva is silky, delicate and intense. Its persistent and elegant finish leaves a memorable mark. This wine is the result of the fruiting of vineyards located at 900 meters of altitude in the Valladolid municipality of Pesquera del Duero. A cold winter, followed by abundant spring rains and warm summer temperatures, created ideal conditions for an excellent and abundant harvest.

To fully enjoy this wine, we recommend serving it between 16 and 17º C. Pair it with red meats, smoked fish, truffles and aged cheeses.
