Milestone Systems, a Danish company renowned for its data-driven video technology software solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Hardip Sohi-Bains as its new Director of People and Culture. Sohi-Bains brings with her an extensive background in human resources, forged in her previous roles at Rambøll and Novo Nordisk, two companies also in Denmark.
Thomas Jensen, CEO of Milestone Systems, expressed his excitement at the addition of Hardip Sohi-Bains to the executive management team, who began his duties on June 15.
“He has solid global experience in organizational philosophy, which prioritizes people and their needs, in addition to an outstanding track record in organizational change management, leadership and business management. Originally from the UK, Sohi-Bains left her role as HR Director at Rambøll’s UK subsidiary and moved to Denmark in 2017, where she served as Head of HR Transformation and Group Functions and later , as Global Head of Human Resources for Corporate Functions at the Rambøll headquarters.
“I was so excited by the Scandinavian way of approaching human resource management, known for empowering employees, that I didn’t think twice when I had the opportunity to move to Denmark, and I must say I don’t regret it”he shared.
To Hardip Sohi-Bains, “You’ll Never Walk Alone” (You Will Never Walk Alone) is not only the Liverpool Football Club anthem and her favorite tune as a die-hard fan of this team. The lyrics of this song resonate with the purpose and promise she sees in her new role at Milestone.
