As reported this Sunday by the company, whose assembly approved last year’s accounts, Covirán concluded the year with assets of 219 million euros, a profit before taxes of 3.24 million euros and a net profit of 2. 03 million, one million more than in 2022.

In 2023, the Granada company increased its investment to 5.45 million euros to consolidate technological projects, promote renewable energies and modernize points of sale.

In addition, Covirán’s social cash flow increased by 2%, amounting to 838 million euros, which – according to the company – reflects its ability to generate and reinvest resources for the benefit of the community.

The net amount of the turnover grew by 1.64% compared to the previous year and the EBITDA amounted to 11.05 million euros, an increase of 8.64%.

According to the company, these economic results are “the most important at a quantitative level” in its history and confirm the improvement in the profitability and efficiency of the 2,530 stores that currently make up the Covirán network in Spain and Portugal.

In addition, women surpassed men as the majority of Partners in Spain (50.7%) for the first time, which for Covirán highlights “the growing role of women in identifying opportunities and making strategic decisions.” within the cooperative. EFECOM
