The arrival of the Jeep Avenger has been a revolution in the young B-SUV segment. Heir to Jeep’s practical, adventurous and non-conformist vocation, it is designed and designed to satisfy the tastes and needs of European motorists, who look for efficient, sustainable cars that know how to cope with both rugged terrain and urban or highway journeys.

The Jeep Avenger is, above all, synonymous with freedom, concentrated in its design, its functionality, its technology and its off-road performance. The Jeep Avenger Electric offers all the advantages of “zero emissions” vehicles. Its 400 V engine develops 115 kW (156 HP), with a maximum torque of 260 Nm for a range of 400 km, according to the WLTP protocol, which can reach up to 600 km on purely urban routes.

The e-Hybrid mild hybrid technology, newly arrived in the Jeep Avenger range, ensures a 15% reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions compared to equivalent gasoline versions. It combines the power and agility of a 100 HP 1.2 turbo gasoline engine with the smoothness of a 15 kW (20 HP) electric drive, all efficiently managed by a 6-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

To increase electric range and reduce emissions and consumption, the braking system has a “self-charging” function that uses decelerations to maximize kinetic energy recovery and improve efficiency. It recovers energy that would otherwise be wasted when the vehicle decelerates (e-Coasting) and during braking (Regenerative Braking).

The Jeep Avenger will soon offer a new electrified alternative, the 4xe version, which integrates an all-wheel drive system that joins the mild hybridization e-Hybrid (MHEV) technology already present in the range. It adds the performance of a 136 HP (100 kW) thermal engine with two electric motors of 21 kW each, capable of moving the two axles and guaranteeing 1900 Nm of torque available to the rear wheels. Thanks to “power looping” technology, 4xe guarantees four-wheel drive regardless of the battery’s state of charge, providing a fluid and safe driving experience on the most diverse terrain.

True to the brand’s DNA, the Jeep Avenger stands out for its versatility on any type of surface thanks to the Selec-Terrain traction control. Its offroad vocation is also present in the moldings and protective elements that cover both the underside and the entire perimeter of the vehicle and the headlights, which are also faired and located in a high position.

This 360-degree shield protects against small stones and bumps on poorly paved roads as well as low-speed impacts, which are the cause of 70% of bodywork damage in Europe. With specific coatings in critical areas such as the doors, the Jeep Avenger can leave a cross-country drive or an underground parking lot without a scratch.

With its compact dimensions, 4.08 m long and short overhangs, the New Jeep Avenger stands out for offering angles of attack (20º), ventral (20º) and departure (32º) that make it a true Jeep in its offroad performance. However, these dimensions can also be useful in the city, to deal with steep parking ramps or steep streets.

Technology and connectivity is another of its strong points. It incorporates the UConnect 10 advanced infotainment system, which is accessed through the 10.25-inch touch screen located on the dashboard. It offers an agile, simple and intuitive system to manage the different functionalities and easily access all types of applications, including those on the smartphone, which benefits from a wireless charging system.
