Jorge Rial He used his social networks to remember the cardiac episode he suffered a year ago. The driver shared with his followers a heartfelt post as a reflection.

365 days ago, the former Intruders was traveling in Colombia and suffered a heart attack. His situation was critical, so much so that his daughters, Rocío and Morena, urgently traveled to the country to accompany him.

Through his official Instagram account, he wrote about it: “In this bed, exactly one year ago, life tried to abandon me in a cunning way. For ten minutes I no longer belonged to this world and everything was suspended in time. I only remember warmth and peace. Nothing more and nothing less. It wasn’t my time”.

“I recovered and came back. Stronger, more humble, more human, more loved, less cautious, happier and with more desire to enjoy life. They reset my life. Like when you turn off the TV so that all the applications work again. And boy did they work,” he continued.

In the same post, he reflected: “I am standing. Surrounded by love. Like when I woke up and there were Rocío and Morena. And María, who suddenly found herself in a story worthy of the magical realism of her country. And before, still on the other side, the voice of Fran (her grandson) asking me not to give up.”

“And to the Colombian doctors, professionals of love. And Omar, the guardian angel who did not stop beating my chest until my heart deigned to wake up,” she thanked.

“You are all part of this memory that I live without anguish or pain. It’s just gratitude. Maybe it was the first day of my new life. Thank you all. I hope we continue together much longer,” she concluded.
