The morning TVN journalist, “Good morning everyone”, Kevin Felgueras went through a delicate health scare that kept him away from his work in the morning space for weeks. This Thursday he returned to work after having to consult doctors for suspicions of a cardiovascular accident.
These episodes occurred on April 9 and 11 on air, and that’s why he ended up going to two neurologists and two cardiologists for fear of being on the verge of having a stroke. “This Tuesday the 9th I was talking to Simón (Oliveros) and he asked me ‘are you okay, does your head hurt?’ Because I was speaking badly, dragging my tongue and I didn’t even realize it. That could be an indicator of something.”, he commented to LUN.

He went to the infirmary, and everything seemed fine, but the situation changed at the two days when he was presenting and went “blank.” Subsequently, “reading a document I couldn’t put the letters together to pronounce the word ‘perception’. I was very scared there because it was very strange.”he added.
When telling his wife, Andrea Aguilar, about what happened, She suggested he go to the doctor, So he went to a general practitioner. “I described everything to him and he asked me to go to the emergency room because it could be episodes of TIA (transient ischemic attack) and He explained to me that it was a step prior to a stroke.“said the journalist.

However, Felgueras did not pay attention to the scholarr, and went to eat with his wife, who described him as “stubborn.” She ended up convincing him to go to a neurologist the next day. “That first doctor told me that we said we should rule things out immediately and within 10 minutes I was doing a brain MRI, because there was a possibility that he would have a stroke”, he recounted.
“It was ruled out, I consulted a second opinion and they sent me for many tests, including an encephalogram and cardiac Holter.. I am privileged because I was able to get everything done quickly, I wish everyone had that access to health,” Kevin added.
They found his exams altered, so he went to consult with two cardiologists. “They found that I have an arrhythmia within the margins and today I spoke with my doctor who operated on me (for a gastric bypass) and he ruled out that I lack any vitamins, I am impeccable on that side,” he said.
“I’m not sure why all this happened to me because the doctors told me that in many cases this is not clarified. This was a kind warning that the body always speaks. I have to slow down with work, because I am demanding. They recommended another license, but I feel like a bubble and I think I need to apply things to improve my routine. If I have to stop again, I won’t wait for a notice,” she concluded.
