The Chilean singer, Christell Rodríguez, released three new versions of his most successful hit worldwide, “Dubidubidu”this time in Spanish, English and Japanese.
The interpreter, who is also a speech therapist and has a makeup store, revealed part of the behind-the-scenes of the Japanese version on her social networks.

It was precisely in Japan —and in others several countries—where the song reached the top of Spotify thanks to its viralization on TikTok.
The new versions of “Dubidubidu”
On his Instagram account, The performer uploaded a reel of her singing with his Japanese teacher.
“Finally! The 3 new versions of Chipichipi ‘Dubidubidu’ are now available in 3 languages! Enjoy it as much as the original! It was quite an odyssey, but we did it as a team! Tell me what you think,” she wrote alongside the post.

The Chilean artist, whose musical career became popular when she was a child star on the program “Red”, talked about the process of remaking this song.
“We did this so that the people who listen to the song so much I can finally understand what it is aboutbecause they ask it a lot,” he commented.
“In Asia the song was heard a lot, but in Japan it remained among the viral ones much longer on TikTok and in the reproductions on Spotify, that is why we prioritize that version,” he added in conversation with Página 7.
“I love that it was something very transgenerational, it’s like breaking the time barrier. It has happened with many other styles, like Cachureos and songs that are very classic. For my music to be a part of that, I find it very nice,” Christell said.
