“Wild Dangond Way” unveiled in New York

The city of New York, together with Commissioner Ydanis Rodríguez, unveiled the “Silver Dangond Way” in a special event where the media and fans gathered on this very special day for the Colombian singer.

This distinguished street is located in an emblematic point of the Big Apple, at the intersection of 50th Street and 6th Avenue, near the majestic Radio City Music Hall where the artist is preparing tonight to receive another well-deserved Sold Out.

“The way Silvestre elevates vallenato… that great indigenous, African, European influence becomes not only Colombian heritage, but World heritage. “Silvestre is a person who is committed to making culture a tool to empower our people,” said Commissioner Rodríguez.

For his part, Silvestre said that for him it was a “responsibility that God gave me, being an example for a generation, and being clear about where I come from in Urumita, La Guajira, has led me to know where I am going. Vallenato has been my life, music has given me everything. This recognition is totally unexpected and I want everyone to enjoy this day and for all Latin people to feel great pride when they pass by here.”

This recognition is added to other great moments such as the start of his tour of the United States with three consecutive Sold Out’s in Charlotte, Washington and Atlanta respectively.

The artist, with the help of Loud and Live, WK Entertainment and Hit’s Don’t Lie, will continue with the following dates scheduled for these days in Boston, several cities in Texas, Miami among others. A tour where the public can enjoy a unique experience with all the successes that have marked the artist’s career over the years.
