Just as a few years ago he got under the skin of chef Adam Jones in the movie burnt, Bradley Cooper (49) wore the kitchen apron again, although this time he did it in his own food truck. This is the venture that he launched last year, Danny & Coop’s Cheesesteaks, together with chef and businessman Danny DiGiampietro – owner of the Angelo’s Pizzeria chain – where they prepare the famous cheesesteaks, cheese and meat sandwiches that are very characteristic of the city of Philadelphia.
“I grew up in that city and in a family where everything happened in the kitchen. My mother is Italian, as is my grandmother, so life revolved around what we were going to eat. That was always the topic of conversation. Today I love to cook and I have liked it all my life,” Cooper said in an interview in which he also revealed that before devoting himself to acting, he worked in a Greek restaurant and was even a kitchen assistant in an Italian restaurant in New Jersey.
On Saturday the 25th, the Hollywood star did not hesitate to roll up his sleeves and go out to sell his cheesesteaks during the BottleRock festival organized in Napa Valley, California. There, his girlfriend, the top model Gigi Hadid (29), – with whom he has been dating since October of last year – took the opportunity to taste the famous sandwich. This isn’t the first time Cooper has taken charge of the kitchen. He already did it in Las Vegas a few weeks ago and last year, on the streets of New York.
