In her podcast interview, the London-based performer confessed that that eating disorder ended up hurting her a lot: “It destroyed me. It ruined my kidney, my liver, my digestive system and my heart”.

Jameela Jamil refers to the fact that she decided to follow different treatments or diets in order to have a physique that can help her in the entertainment industry: “I took so many laxativesTo be honest… I took whatever pills, drinks, or diets Oprah recommended.. Now, Jameela wears almost five years “eating properly”, and she is happy with the progress she has been experiencing: “My hair has grown back, I have recovered my energy, my sexual appetite and everything is better in my life.” Still, she admits that she feels frustrated by her past: “I’m angry because now everything hurts and everything is more complicated.”.
