Vero Lozano from Bahia revealed what was the call that changed her life – La Brújula 24

Vero Lozano is one of the most recognized hosts on television and has had a successful media career. Throughout these years, she has known how to adapt to different professional challenges, after going through a difficult childhood due to her mother’s illness and receiving a call at the age of 23 that changed her life completely.

Since 2017, the model has carried out the program Cortá por Lozano and has recognized, on several occasions, that her histrionics are one of the qualities that most characterizes her, which dates back to her childhood. According to Verónica, it is something that helped her cope with the difficult times she went through with her mother, who got sick when she was a child.

“I had my mother very sick since I was seven years old, she died when I was 23. I was like an over-adapted girl, the role of caring and being attentive, the medication; My mother didn’t come to school events because she couldn’t; I always had an attitude of being worried and busy for my mother,” Vero said in an interview.

What was your hard childhood like?

“Not because my dad didn’t do it, I have a sister who is seven years younger so I also took care of her,” she clarified and revealed that this was the starting point for shaping her personality with a great sense of humor: “I “I always lived it with joy, the humor comes from there.”

“My old woman was hospitalized and I played the characters of Gasalla or Juana Molina for her. Or she would imitate my grandmother and I would see her laugh and feel like I was helping her. She laughed and I felt good. When she was little she had the histrionic thing. I imitated the characters of Fanny Mandelbaum or China Zorrila,” she recalled.

The host recognized that this was the key moment in her life, which made her have a very special way of being with which she brightened the life of her sick mother. “I believe, and here comes the piano part, that it was because my mother was always sick, poor saint. “So I brightened the house, I was the bell,” she explained.

The call that changed his life

After going through a tough childhood, Vero Lozano continued with her life and, at the age of 23, she went to work as a model in Japan, where she had to stay for three months in that place away from her family. Until one day, she received a call from her sister who, without giving her too many explanations, told her that her mother had died.

Completely astonished by the news, she arranged her immediate return to the country. “In shock, mom died, and I had to organize to return. At the modeling agency, they didn’t believe you because since the boys and girls were having a hard time and wanted to come back, they would say any vegetable, so they didn’t believe me when I told them that my mother had died,” Vero recalled in another interview.
