The Argentine designer, Nicanor Bravo, He revealed in a television program that he had a tough start to 2024, since he had to undergo treatment for colorectal cancer.

“I did 30 radio sessions every day, except for weekends, I did two continuous 92-hour chemo sessions,” he acknowledged in a CHV program.

The “loneliness of the sick”

However, beyond how painful this process of chemo and radiotherapy has been, what has affected him most has been the loneliness with which he has faced this process.

Nicanor explained that although he has been accompanied by people who care about his health, in any case the treatment continues to be done alone, which has caused him to live the “loneliness of the sick”he defined.

“Not because you are alone, per se, but because the patient is (alone) with his illness even if you have 20 people next to you (…), if I hadn’t had the dogs I don’t know what I would have done,” he acknowledged.

The designer was asked if there were celebrities who had ever shared with him on television panels accompanying him in this process, confessing that only one celebrity has been with him and she was the remembered host of “Verdict”, Macarena Venegas.

“La Maca was worried about me, ‘what do you need? Something legal? Should I pay for the phone?'” he recalled, concluding that he is now waiting for the results to find out if the cancer treatment worked.
