At the end of last April Maly Jorquiere and Sergio Freire got married in an intimate ceremonyaway from media exposure.

Initially the wedding would take place in 2020, but the couple, who began their relationship in 2014, For various reasons he had to postpone the ceremony. Now they are finally a family with Lucas, who came into their lives in October 2017.

The actress commented on details of her wedding and recounted what that awkward moment with her son was like prior to her night at the hotel with Sergio, in conversation with Página 7.

“I thought being married might change something, we are more united. It’s funny, we love each other and we still don’t get used to saying ‘my wife’ or ‘my husband’. We got married when we were both old, at 43 years old, it has been difficult for us to change our language.”he pointed out at the beginning.

In this sense, he said that Lucas was very happy because he participated in the solemn event in a special way. “The lady from the Civil Registry made it part of the ceremony, we were grateful for that. “She made him sign a little piece of paper with her name, he was very excited,” he indicated with joy.

“We are very happy, I feel that before we were very united and now even more so. “We are focused on working, being a family, having a good time and enjoying life together,” she said.

Regarding the ceremony, Maly expressed that “It was incredible and very intimate. “Why does one get married? I don’t know, but it was all from the utmost love, we went on our honeymoon with Luquitas.”

What’s more, Jorquiere brought up an unforeseen event that almost ruined their trip. “We are both super crazy, we went to Disney, we were on the way to the airport and we said ‘well, Lucas doesn’t have to get a certificate if we’re married, he has to go out.’ And no problem, we didn’t have the notebook, so we had to print the certificate right there.”

About the wedding night, the comedian also narrated what it was like to almost lose it because of her son’s “fault.”.

“Our friends gave us a wedding night in a hotel. I was super excited because other friends gave me the baby doll, and Lucas was going to stay with his paternal grandparents.”he explained.

“We told him ‘Now Lucas, we’re leaving’ and he started ‘no, don’t leave me, how are you going to leave me?’ He said ‘joking, it can’t be’. Freire wanted to take him, and I said no because he was going to get bored.”the story continued.

Maly commented that he couldn’t think of how to solve the problem. They tried to change the reservation, but were assured that it was not possible. So, She resorted to a “little card up her sleeve.”

“I went and sat Lucas down and told him, ‘son, we love you very much, but daddy and mommy need to be together to talk.’ I don’t know what face I gave him and he told me, ‘Mom, go, I’ll wait for you tomorrow.’”he indicated, so he was able to enjoy his wedding night with Sergio Freire.
