In July 2022, popular music singer Paola Jara surprised social media users by sharing a particular chicken stew, a recipe that sparked controversy and divided opinions.

In that image you could see two thighs, a piece of corn on the cob and half a potato on a bed of white rice. The preparation caused ridicule and memes on social networks.
Almost two years had to pass before Paola Jara dared to make chicken sweat again.but this time he had extra help: the content creators known as Los de yum.
The video begins with the interpreter of Murió el amor saying: “Help, Jessi wants chicken sweat”.
To which Los de Yum respond: “Don’t worry, we’ll help you.”
“This is my revenge,” concluded Paola Jara.
What does the recipe consist of?
According to Los de yum, the ingredients are:
- Half a white onion.
- 1 red paprika.
- 3 tomatoes.
- 1 teaspoon of chopped garlic.
- Two or three thighs.
- 6 potatoes in halves.
- 2 ears in pieces.
- 1 dash of annatto oil or 1 teaspoon of color, annatto powder, omit powder.
- 3 Coriander roots, well washed.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
Grandma’s “trick” to make the chicken sweat have more flavor is to add cilantro stems to the recipe.
“Now, let Jessi Uribe get ready because this sweaty chicken was very yum”the cooks assured.
The followers of the singer and the content creators reacted to the video with positive comments: “That one turned out well,” “What a delight,” “We were all beginners in the kitchen at some point and how cool that Paola wants to vindicate herself” and “I don’t know why they still throw so much hate at Paola Jara. I loved how he turned the criticism around and cooked his good chicken stew”.
