On the day the mother and baby were discharged, the model invited a friend to the hospital to visit her and meet the newborn. The friend, who is a makeup artist, brought her “kit” and did her makeup before she left the hospital. Nicole shared the photos on her social networks and an avalanche of criticism rained down on her. Most of the comments pointed to the harmfulness of reproducing these images on social networks, that “real women” do not go through the postpartum period wearing makeup, and the erroneous and dangerous conceptions that these publications install in society.
Nicole made her defense, as did her husband Manuel Urcera, and recently the model returned to her networks and uploaded an image in which she joked about it. “Postpartum girdle, real woman,” Nicole wrote and accompanied her phrase with a laughing emoji.
