Black Bird actor Paul Walter Hauser was not shy about expressing his displeasure with Vin Diesel, who he mentioned as an example of unprofessional behavior in Hollywood. The incident occurred during an interview with CinemaBlend for the promotions of Inside Out 2.

Controversy arose when the interviewer compared Hauser’s voice performance in the Disney and Pixar animated film to Diesel’s work as Groot in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise.

“You’re like Vin Diesel now!” commented the journalist. The actor, visibly uncomfortable, responded by referring to unprofessional behavior. “Please do not say that. I like to think that I am punctual and accessible. I love people, but when I hear stories about Hollywood actors who are highly paid and mistreat people, I constantly report them. And it is a pleasure to do it.”

Although it should be noted that both talents have not worked together so far, Hauser’s criticism is not gratuitous. Vin Diesel’s reputation on set has come under scrutiny in the past from other colleagues.

As you may recall, Diesel, famous for his central role in the Fast and Furious franchise, had a dispute with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson that began in 2016. The former WWE wrestler posted a message on Instagram criticizing certain cast members without mentioning them directly.
