On a cold winter night, Libertad Street (a few meters from Libertador, in Recoleta) was dyed red and brought together well-known women, including models, actresses, businesswomen and artists, who enjoyed a very special night accompanying María Conorti, the founder of Demaría, a renowned brand of shoes and handbags. “Red for me is fire and passion. It is a trend in the world, I love it,” María told ¡HOLA!, while she showed the restyling of her store, painted in total mesh and with a geometric paper on the ceiling.
Zaira Nara, Juliana Awada, Andrea Frigerio, Ginette Reynal, María Freytes, Jazmín Chebar, Andrea “La Tucu” Martínez, and fashion producer Vicky Miranda, were among the 60 women who were present on June 27 in Recoleta. The former first lady is the guest that everyone wants to have, since she is a style reference and a great ambassador of local fashion. Juliana was accompanied by Antonia Macri (12), her youngest daughter, who is a good friend of Cala, María Conorti’s heiress. It is worth remembering that Juliana, dedicated to the fashion business, made a capsule of sandals a couple of seasons ago for Demaría. And two months ago, she also had a special and very successful line in Awada, the brand that she founded “Pomi” Baker, her mother.
In addition to being tempted by the new collection of shoes, boots and handbags, the girls invited (who mostly followed the dress code of a touch of red) tried an exquisite finger food menu (to eat with your hands), from Myette, and a drinks bar. Constanza Di Cocco, the interior designer in charge of redecorating the store, received many compliments for the changes. Good music completed the scene with souvenirs in tune: a red leather glasses case.
The change of season was marked by the looks, among which the pants stood out, many of them made of leather, the blazers and the covered ones, some with touches of leather and soft, warm textures. The cocktail, the talks and the good vibes lasted until after half past nine at night.
