The Vigo health area appoints new heads of Intensive Medicine and Urology

The Official Gazette of Galicia has recently published the resolutions of the management of the Vigo Health Area of ​​the public calls for the provision of the positions of head of the Urology and Intensive Medicine services after presenting their management proposals before the evaluation commissions. Dr. Pilar Posada González will take over Intensiva after training as a specialist in Chuvi itself, subsequently developing her professional activity as an assistant to this service for twenty years at the Xeral hospital, later passing to Cunqueiro. Dr. Posada regularly participates in different research projects and is a speaker at numerous medical conferences.

The new head of Vigo Urology, for his part, will be Dr. Enrique Cespon, who performed the specialty at the S. João clinical hospital, in Porto. His professional activity was carried out in the health centers of Ferrol, Pontevedra-Salnés and, since 2005, in Chuvi. In turn, he has carried out a intense scientific and professional activity, participating in several technical assistance committees at the regional level. He is also the author of different articles and book chapters related to Urology.
