The provincial senator presented a project in the Senate requesting to appoint more forensic doctors for the department of Oran.

The project presented last Thursday consists of a request for the appointment of more forensic doctors in the department of Oran.
“It was a request for a very sad event that has occurred in Hipólito Irigoyen in the department of Orán. It will also be necessary to evaluate whether the forensic doctor who is currently in office is fulfilling other duties,” Cura said.
The worrying fact why it was decided to present the project is the death of a young man in Hipólito Irigoyen. The family had to keep the young man’s body for 10 hours in his house. During those hours, they had to wait for the forensic doctor to arrive to do their corresponding work.
“This situation has generated great indignation in society. The family also filed a complaint and I know that justice will be able to act in the specific case,” said the senator.
Likewise, he explained that the project request consists of two topics. On the one hand, the family’s case and what they had to go through should be investigated.
On the other hand, the senator requests that if a single forensic doctor is not enough for the entire area of the department of Oran, that another be appointed to improve assistance.
“We ask through the Ministry of Security and Justice that it be managed in the Public Ministry and in the CIF. We also understand the situation that is being experienced where there are no designations and everything, but it seems to me that this is a sensitive issue that must be reviewed and dealt with, “he indicated.
