They carried out a door-to-door vaccination operation in the Pueblo Nuevo neighborhood

The Ministry of Health, through the Primary Care Center ‘Dr. Ramón Carrillo’, carried out a large door-to-door vaccination operation in the Pueblo Nuevo neighborhood of the city of San Luis. This initiative, which seeks to bring health care closer to each neighbor, involved the participation of eight teams made up of nurses and health agents, who toured the neighborhood to vaccinate the population.

During the operation, more than 300 doses of different vaccines were applied, completing and beginning vaccination schedules in accordance with the mandatory national calendar. This effort is part of a comprehensive strategy of the Ministry of Health to guarantee that all citizens have access to the necessary medical care, especially in the most vulnerable neighborhoods and areas.

During the week, the Ministry’s Immunization team has worked with different institutions, such as DOSEP and the provincial Penitentiary, to continue reinforcing the vaccination of all staff, mainly at this time when temperatures drop, to prevent health complications in minors and people with risk factors.
