The Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports has called the II Awards for emotional well-being in the educational field, aimed at Spanish educational centers supported by public funds that teach Early Childhood, Primary, Compulsory Secondary, Basic and Intermediate Vocational Training Cycles, and teaching of Adults, which have developed projects to promote and care for emotional well-being, in order to recognize the effort made by educational centers and their contribution to improving the quality of education.
This award is intended to promote the following actions:
- Incorporate into the structures of the educational center a comprehensive approach to promoting the emotional well-being of students.
- Implement student participation projects that promote the development of socio-emotional skills, a culture of good treatment, the resolution of peaceful conflicts, the prevention of bullying and cyberbullying, positive coexistence and personal growth in a safe and healthy environment.
- Develop community coordination projects to promote emotional well-being, establishing connections between professionals from schools, health centers and local groups supporting children and youth, which serve to form or consolidate the social fabric, help networks and prevent segregation, especially of students in vulnerable situations.
