What is healthy longevity?

Healthy longevity can be defined in 4 words: “Live longer and better.” With the increase in life expectancy, healthy longevity management has become the key to the 21st century. Reaching an advanced age in good physical and mental health conditions is one of the main challenges of our society, but how can we achieve it? The experts summarize it in:

  1. Wearing Healthy habits, being aware of the importance of prevention throughout life and complying with the vaccination schedule, regardless of age.
  2. Doing exercise.
  3. Staying mentally active.
  4. Taking care of the feeding.
  5. Socializing.
  6. Sleeping 7 hours a day.
  7. Avoiding the consumption of alcohol or tobacco.
  8. Paying attention to the mental health.
  9. Planning the financial future, to have sufficient economic resources to enjoy that long life.
  10. AND… Having a vital purpose. No matter how old we are, we must always set goals, new objectives, in short a direction to direct our steps.

Managing healthy longevity is a commitment for all of us: for each one of us, for society as a whole, for public administrations and for companies.
