The Council of Doctors of the Province of Córdoba presented Telemedic.ar, the first telemedicine platform for all doctors in the province
This will help facilitate access to the health system and will be the only one that will guarantee that it is used by a registered professional. It will also integrate other tools of the Council, such as electronic prescriptions and certificates, complementary orders, all online.
To enter the system, the doctor will have to place his Cuit and the platform will be connected to the professional’s agenda and one or more assistants can be designated to manage it. The professional will also be able to upload the patient’s data into the same system, while, before the consultation, a link will be sent for payment by electronic means.
“This is another milestone in the digitalisation process that we started in 2015 and that included, among other innovations, the digital signature of the doctor, the electronic prescription and other services. This tool contributes to facilitating accessibility to the health system,” declared the president of the Medical Council, Héctor Rolando Oviedo. “We are ahead of our time, as we did before with the prescription and which will now be mandatory,” he added.
It should be noted that the use of the prescription increased by 385% between March 2023 and March of this year.
The telemedicine platform of the Medical Council will contribute to improving public and private health, since, among other possibilities, it will allow for decompressing shifts during times of seasonal illnesses, as well as facilitating patient monitoring.
