After playing the Winter Soldier, Bucky Barnes, in various films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Sebastian Stan He has taken a liking to biopics. Being one of the protagonists of two of the best UCM productions so far, such as ‘Captain America: Winter Soldier’ and ‘Captain America: Civil War’ -in addition to the last two Avengers films-, Stan seems to have broken with superhero movies (for now) and has delved fully into biographies. After playing Tommy Lee in the miniseries ‘Pam & Tommy’, based on the couple formed by the rocker and Pamela Anderson, Stan will soon become none other than Donald Trump.

So, Stan will star ‘The Apprentice’, which will chronicle the origins of the controversial tycoon and former president of the United States before achieving popularity thanks to his businesses and his appearance on the reality show that gives its name to the film. In the first image of it, Stan already looks like a young Trump, demonstrating a magnificent job of characterization, accompanied by Jeremy Strong (‘Sucession’), who will be the lawyer Roy Cohn.

Along with Stan and Strong, the cast is completed by Maria Bakalova (‘Borat: Movie Sequel’), who will become Ivana Trump (Donald’s first wife) and Martin Donovan (‘Tenet’), who will be his father, Fred Trump Sr. “It tells the story that forged the relationship between a former shark, the amazing lawyer Roy Cohn, and an even bigger shark: the young businessman and future president of the United States, Donald Trump,” says the official synopsis.

Sebastian Stan will return to the MCU with ‘Thunderbolts’

As we said before, ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Avengers: Endgame’ will not be Stan’s last forays into the Marvel Universe, and he will become Bucky Barnes again in ‘Thunderbolts’, the production about this group of antiheroes prepared by Kevin Feige and which was in serious danger during the actors and scriptwriters’ strike. Together with Stan they will be Florence Pugh (Yelena Belova), David Harbor (Red Guardian) or Lewis Pullmanwho will play Sentry after the departure of Steven Yeun’s project (‘The Walking Dead’, ‘Bronca’).
