Starting this Sunday, Daniel Muñoz will take on an important challenge, who will debut as a host on the program En la Rueda, a new space that will air in prime time on NTV, TVN’s cultural signal, and that will address the history of the cueca
According to information from “everyone’s channel”, the program initially has a season of 12 episodes that begin with the “Origins of the cueca”, and then address the great heroes, the role of politics, the influence of the Parras and other related topics.
In addition, there will be various interviews in a choral format, where the protagonists of each chapter will tell their perspective of the cueca, the studies that have been carried out and how to put them into practice in a dance that speaks of our traditions, not only Chileanbut Latin American.
The space “On the wheel” will be broadcast on Sundays, at 10:00 p.m., through NTV, TVN’s cultural channel, and will be repeated on Wednesdays immediately after “Hora 25.”
First chapter details
In the chapter for this Sunday, May 5, The program will address how the cueca is linked to the political history of the country. Traditions such as the dance of the Presidents of the Republic, the chicha en cacho and its declaration as a national dance in 1979.
It should be noted that this broadcast will take a journey through the transversality of the cueca that has marked different political milestones and that established it as part of the history of the Republic of Chile.
