The bad weather played tricks on the Monarch.
For several days now, Holland has been experiencing a front of bad weather. Not even to receive the Kings of Spain, on their state visit the previous week, was there a truce.
But what has happened to Queen Máxima is almost unprecedented. At least, the woman born in Argentina took it with a sense of humor, as demonstrated by the photograph taken of her.
It happened when she arrived at the Taal aan Zee foundation, where Dutch language lessons are given to foreign-speaking refugee women and asylum seekers.
Just before the Monarch was going to greet the authorities present, an unexpected guest appeared: the wind. Her hat flew off, and she couldn’t hide her funny face.
Quick with reflexes, yes, King William’s lady managed to grab it and put it back on. As if nothing had happened. She though she, anyway, she couldn’t avoid being caught by the paparazzi.
