On the night of Sunday, June 2, a new chapter of the program of TVN “Now I fall! “Prime”a space in which celebrities participate in contests representing different foundations.
One of the contestants was the remembered former television host Yulissa del Pino. The former model also represented Free Letter Foundationwhich is dedicated to teaching reading and writing to boys and girls from vulnerable schools.
On the occasion, del Pino, who has been away from television for several years and dedicated herself to cooking courses, commented on the difficult health moment she went through last year. In 2023, she was detected with cancer, which led her to undergo surgery on different occasions.
“Something that started as a flake and started to itch. “I thought it was a wart and every time I ran the nail it became inflamed.”commented on the program hosted by Daniel Fuenzalida.

“So I went to the doctor, where they detected cancer. The doctor told me that I would have surgery the next day under anesthesia and that the sample would be sent for a biopsy for 10 days. After the results, which were bad, it was decided that there should be an operation with a more powerful team of oncologists,” he commented.
After the first operation did not work, a second operation was performed, in which Mohs surgery was used, which consists of removing the cancer in several stages and under general anesthesia.
After Daniel Fuenzalida asked if she had abused the solarium, the former model commented that “Yes, it is like that on television, In winter it was pure solarium and in summer a lot of sun. The oncologist told me that a solarium session is equivalent to 20 sun rays,” added the former host.
After a successful operation, the entire cancer was removed, without complications for the former model, who appeared in the program’s studio completely healthy from her skin cancer.
