Jun Yamazakianimation director of the popular romantic comedy anime series “Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru (My Dress-Up Darling)”, has unleashed hope for an upcoming release date for the second season with the revelation of new illustrations of Marin Kitagawa.

Recently, Animation director Jun Yamazaki published on his official Twitter account a new color illustration of Marin Kitagawa, the series’ protagonist. Yamazaki’s last post about “Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru” was last week, in which he revealed that his Marin Succubus used in Episode 11 of the series was being turned into a figure. However, the animation director’s latest publications have focused more on “Uma Musume: Pretty Derby”, since he returned as a character designer for the recent film in the franchise, released in May 2024.

Another artistic revelation from Yamazaki follows a new image of Marin Kitagawa dressed as a Chinese-style waitress, published ahead of a collaboration between “Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru” and a Chinese restaurant, launching this summer in Japan. In April 2024, new collectible capsules of the chibi Wakana Gojo and Marin Kitagawa were also put on sale.
