In addition to this, it is indicated that a scholarship program named after the rapper was suspended and? a donation of 1 million dollars was returned that “Diddy” made to the school.

“Mr. Combs’s behavior… is so fundamentally inconsistent with the core values ​​and beliefs of Howard University that he is no longer considered worthy of holding the highest honor of the institution,” the Washington DC university indicated in the statement.

“The university is unwavering in its opposition to all acts of interpersonal violence“, it is added.

As The Guardian indicates, the chain of events led to a board of directors of the study house taking measures regarding the artist’s actions.

According to the statement, the meeting was scheduled last Friday, where the decision was made, not only to eliminate the honorary title, cancel the scholarship program that bears his name and return the donation that financed it, but also to end a 2023 commitment agreement with the Sean Combs Foundation.

“The Sean Combs Foundation has not owed or made any payments towards the $1 million pledge as of this date, therefore, no funds due under 2023 pledge agreement”, it is explained.
