This weekend is celebrated in Colombia on Father’s Day, a Catholic tradition, which is originally associated with March 19, the day of Saint Joseph, father of Jesus.
As is customary in these celebrations, the cultural, artistic and entertainment programming is extensive. This is an agenda to enjoy live music, theater, comedy and academic talks.

South America, on Father’s Day
The Suramérica Group celebrates its 48 years of experience with a concert that pays tribute to its musical history. Jazz and Blues
Today you can attend two Jazz and Blues events. The first begins at 6:30 in the afternoon at the Colombo Americano, by the Vanderbilt Jazz Quartert group. It costs $35,000. On the other hand, at El Club del Jazz, at 8:00 pm, Santiago Monsalve will perform. Admission costs $25,000. If you purchase for both concerts, you will receive a 20% discount.

CONVERSATIONS
Astronomical talk
On Saturday, in the library of the Medellín Planetarium, the book album La luna se olvó by the Taiwanese designer and illustrator Jimmy Liao will be read, where the importance of our satellite and what would happen on Earth if it were not there will be discussed. Admission is free until capacity is reached.
Letters as stars is a project of the library, located on the first floor of the Planetarium, with which we seek to promote reading among boys and girls with a focus on science topics. Using the bibliography available in our collections, we will develop small workshops in which the public will approach popular literature and live an enriching experience.
