Recently, Shakira has been the cover of the summer edition of ‘Rolling Stone’ and in conversation with the magazine she revealed that she wants to leave behind the image of a hurt woman, since currently She feels that she is living one of the best stages of her life and that she has “recovered her accent,” style and sensuality.

Despite this, she also opened up about the most difficult moment of her life, which was when she separated from the father of her children, Gerard Piqué. The singer commented that throughout that process she felt the pain as something physical, a deep wound that left her vulnerable and made her question everything.

“I felt like someone had punched a hole in my chest and the sensation was so real, almost physical. “Physically, I felt like I had a hole in my chest and that people could see through me,” he claimed.

However, she decided to channel her emotions into music and in this way songs like ‘Monotonía’ and ‘Te Felicito’ were born, which became anthems for people who have gone through similar situations.
