The Princess of Wales, Catherine, appeared this Saturday for the first time in public since she was diagnosed with cancer, aboard a float with her three children in the parade celebrating the official birthday of King Charles III.

This is the first time the princess is seen in public after the March 22 announced that she is being treated with chemotherapy for a cancer against which she is making “good progress,” as she herself said this Friday in a written message.
Catalina, who was smiling in several sections of the journey, waved to the people who braved the rain today in London to gather around The Mall avenue, which leads to the Buckingham Palace.
The princess wore a white dress by designer Jenny Packham, with a black and white hat by Philip Treacy and the brooch of the Irish Guards regiment, of which she is a colonel.

Shortly after 10:45 (09:45 GMT), the carriage carrying King Charles and Queen Camilla left Buckingham and only a few moments later it left the same place the black chariot in which the Princess of Wales was with her three children, Jorge, Charlotte and Luis.
Catherine’s husband, William, was on horseback with his uncles, the Princess Royal, Anne, and the Duke of Edinburgh, Edward, behind the kings’ carriage and in front of that of his wife and children.
A quarter of an hour later, the royal delegation arrived at the Whitehall area, where the military parade takes place every year to celebrate the king’s official birthday.and (even though the real one is in November).
Catherine is scheduled to appear on the Buckingham balcony to participate in the traditional royal family greeting that will bring the celebrations to an end.
In her message released yesterday by Kensington Palace – her official residence – along with a recent photo, the princess said that she is doing “good progress”but that he is not yet “out of danger” and that his chemotherapy treatment will continue in the coming months.
In addition, he hoped to be present at some more public activities this summer, although he asked for time and space to fully recover.
